Not many trees here. Nice bathroom. Very clean. Beautiful views! Good fishing spots nearby.

Interesting little park near the Thompson River. Stopped by for an hour or so on my way to the Rocky Mountains, explored the park a bit. It is interesting because here you can find cacti in British Columbia, prickly pear cacti that are very short. Be careful if wearing sandals! In BC, they only grow here and in Osoyoos. Saw some other succulent plants as well, a rare sight to see in Beautiful British Columbia.

On the plus side this park is close to Hwy 1 and easy to find. It is located on the Thompson River with small sandy beach on a backwater for safe wading and splashing. The park is old but clean with well maintained. All sites offer power hookups. The sites are level with picnic tables and fire pits. On the negative side there are ticks and snakes in the area. The campsites offer no privacy and little shade and some are rather small. Roads and sites are gravel with limited grass. There are active train tracks on both sides of the campground with frequent trains both day and night. You must pay for hot water in the showers. No cell coverage at sites. Limited coverage near exit.

Great Place and nature. The campground is another story though. It‘s nice and clean, yes. It has a nice little beach, yes. But the Train noises quite kill it. Train on both sides, extremely loud and the whole ground starts shaking if they drive by. Also it‘s like one train every 10 min until late at night. It‘s a shame, really

Beautiful, full electricity if you have a 30-15 volt adapter and water at campsite. Order adapter from Amazon or ask the guy who takes care of the campsites. He has a couple extra. Great guy. I think he's Scottish? It's like a desert, it never rains.
